Elephant 'Narrow Spade' (P-4204)

Made in Japan by Asaka, who have been manufacturing the 'Elephant' brand for many decades. One of a range of all steel spades and shovels. The digging parts are strong and sharp, hard yet flexible. This is thanks to the sophisticated heat treatment and tempering that has been developed by Asaka for over 360 years.

This strong, sharp, 'golden spade' has a sturdy, 2.1mm thick digging head that is longer and thinner than the averagae spade head. Suitable for digging deeper holes or trenches or for working in heavy soils.. ​Use for everything from tree planting, general gardening and vegetable gardening, preparing soil to mixing compost The steel pipe shaft is welded to the blade and handle, and the sharp pointed blade cuts through soil with ease.
