Euonymus alatus 'Compactus' / Burning bush / Winged spindle
Couldn't load pickup availability
Thanks to its intense autumn colour, Euonymus alatus has gained the name 'burning bush'. This compact shrub also has interesting corrugated or 'winged' twigs and branches. Excellent autumn colour, as well as small colourful fruit, orange and pink. A very hardy and resilient plant, it can be planted in sun to moderate shade in almost all soil types and conditions. It stays quite compact, with an ultimate size of approx 1 metre in height x 1 metre in width, making it a useful low-maintenance plant with several seasons of interest. Irish-grown plants in a 3 litre container. 30cm in height.
Plants are generally available in our Monkstown shop. This plant can be shipped nationwide.
