If you want to equip yourself with one of the most essential tools, then you should start with a good spade. So long as you don't use it as a crowbar or treat it foolishly, it will last for years, and be a pleasure in the process. Made in Germany from high-grade steel. It has a strong shaft, where the handle joins the metal, which is the most common breakage point for garden spades and forks. Sturdy and solid, with a T-grip, FSC certified ash handle and rounded 'steps' for foot comfort when digging. The polished steel head has a rounded tip. Total length 114 cms  Weight 2.1kg.
