Lithops & split rock potting compost
A specialist indoor compost mix from Sybotanica, whose range of composts is specially developed to encourage healthy, beautiful indoor plants.
Specific compost blend for lthops, a type of plant, similar to cacti, though Lithops mimic rocks in their appearance. In their natural habitat of hot, dry sunny deserts, they grow in sandy, stony, well-drained soil. This compost mix provides the same environment. It drains quickly because of the pumice and perlite. The sand helps to anthor the plants and the small amount of worm castings assist in briefly holding water when they receive a drink. Water sparsely and seldom (approx once per month in the summer) and not all in in the dark winter months. They are happy with partial sun in the mrorning or evening, but all-day sun will be too much for them. We often have Lithops plants for sale in our Monkstown & Clare Street shops.
