Niwaki garden shears (long handled)

Ideal all-round garden shears, expertly crafted in Japan from hard-wearing, very sharp steel and oak handles. Suitable for maintaining hedges, shrubs, topiary, box, beach, privet etc. Handles offer excellent grip, and like all Japanese tools, these are light but strong. Notes: to avoid damaging the blade, use only for twigs and young branches that are fresh or sem-fresh. Clean after use with soap and water or Crean Mate, wipe dry and and apply camellia oil. Regularly sharpen with a Niwaki sharpening stone #1000 or the twin diamond file.
