Tetrapanax papyrifer / Rice paper plant

A magnificent structural foliage plant with huge palmate, felted, grey-green leaves up to 60cm wide. When mature it will grow to 3m or taller with big trunks. Non-descript white flowers in autumn are followed by black berries. Great for any coastal garden or a sheltered garden in the rest of the country, bringing a tropical flare anywhere it is grown. 

Irish grown plants, 60-80cm in height in a 3 litre pot.

Plants are also generally available in our Monkstown shop. Because of its size and weight, this plant can only be delivered in County Dublin.
